Scott,

No. It's been very dry, so snake hunting hasn't been very productive. The Santa Cruz garter was found under the bark of a fallen tree. There were about 5 or 6 skins around the tree. I bet there were more garters under the bark (it was a big tree), but I didn't want to destroy their habitat. It was quite thrilling to catch one!
