Of my close to 50 cresteds none eat every day unless i dint feed them enough the night before. Imo I would never feed the same bugs every day, variety is the spice of life and the key to a healthy gecko. as for the amount, well thats easy with the ph wrms, just put say 10 in a dish if they are all gone in the morning next time try more , if there is extra reduce the amount until you get it right. Feeding one type of bug can lead to other problems......your crested may decide it only wants phwrms or decide its bored and never eat another. You may also find the worms are too small to really be a staple. Just my opinion let me know how it turns out for you

i would only feed any kind of insects once a week. the diet staple should be the CGD. since CGD is a MRP, cresteds don't NEED any insects, so any you give will be a treat. that being said, you can let the gecko eat its fill of the phoenix worms once a week, they are very healthy for cresteds due to the high calcium!

Not at all saying there is any thing wrong with your husbandry practice, do you really have to push cgd like that? I have got a house full of crested geckos who do just fine without it. Again i am not saying what your doing is bad but to go so far as to say he "should" use that..... I think what he should do is give his crested a variety, and keep in mind cresteds dont eat cgd in the wild.
