neophyte....my first DUW ( wippie)....

FRoberts Jul 23, 2007 10:14 PM

I am a bona fide neophyte when it comes to photography. I will get better at this, it is not a digital camera. I just upgraded my phone. I got it two years ago with the contract with cingular. I am very slow to advance technologically speaking. Not bad for a cell phone, I have lots of options to improve pics but am to lazy to get to it. Was cleaning today and snapped some shots. Saved BEST for Last!!!

All snakes pictured are from today and are currently in my collection, funny part this isn't half of them lol.

Comments and questions welcomed !!!

I am still buying a digital camera, probably in October when I get my bonus...

FYI, adult BCI pictured was a rescue ( 2 yrs ago ), it had rubbed its entire snout off, I will get a close up, odd looking!! Completely healed, but you tell even still what the poor thing did to itself, none of my snakes rub their snouts, but 2 of my snakes will literally push in corner of enclosure with it's head and mess it up a bit, treat those two with betadine, so therefor no infection was incurred ( to become liable or subject to : bring down upon oneself ) because of daily treatments until it completely heals, then treat daily for 10 days even after swelling dissipates, a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down in the most delightful way. WTF that just popped in my head.... fem lol

i think im in love hurry up and get a digi 250 will get you a nice one trust me i got one lol. but man dumerils and carpets and MACKLOTS cmon how is tame evil eh whats the temper like on the mack i love em just never had the grape fruits to get one i have heard nothign of evil bites from them and never in my life seen a tame one and i have seen quite a few. thats my other must have tame one day besides my black whit lip

FRoberts Jul 24, 2007 12:30 PM

except my male African rock and both of my yellow anacondas. All have strong feeding responses, wait, my bloods have to be watched at all times. I have had two macklots in my life both where tamed without handling. I spend a lot of time around them and they loose their initial fear of me and all the aggression subsides, substantiating my opinion that almost all aggression in snakes is linked to their survival instincts so not to be predated upon. Male rock is somewhat aggressive, my anacondas are little demons, it should be noted they are rarely handled and are in opaque enclosures inhibiting them from seeing me clearly, which in theory should prolong the amount of time for them to get used to my presence, yes they are in those types of enclosures on purpose. Related to my studies on aggression in snakes. Almost forgot, my lavender texas rat rattles tail and bites when serviced. Pines just get hissy and rattle, I have never been bitten by a pine snake before, bull snakes and gophers yes, pines not as of yet. Stop being a pus and get a macklots, they are spectacular specimens, I want some white-lipped as well, either color, but I do prefer black.
