I was wondering what the courting process consists of? I have a spider that usually sits in a ball anywhere you put him unless he's trying to run off. I put him in with a female earlier and he did that for a while...then sat ontop of her while she was in a ball and now is basically sitting streched out across the tub but is folded I guess would be the best way to put it but is completely straight stretched out and has never done that before so I'm wondering if he is courting her???

courting is like flirting to a human. If it is just sitting there, it is not courting.
Look for it to be crawling around, mostly on top, of the female.
Not that it can't happen now, but it is not quite that time of year.....stranger things have happened though.
