possible hets? or is everythgin 100% hets now days my buddy wants to start a very very very small collection i told him he should get a few poss hets and hope for the best any ideas on good places top go and look for poss hets?

I bet the possible hets often get sold as normals with for sure hets so reasonable now.

I remember a friend telling me about having a heck of a time selling possible hets at a show. He stopped listing them as possible hets and sold out of them as presumed normals for the same price. A lot of people don't understand or like the whole possible het thing. A shame really.

yeah i know the price went so dang far down thats why if he was gonna pay for norms why not pay just a few more and get poss hets now its like hmm where are they shame to have poss hets sold as norms its gonna end up like corn snakes sooner or later get two what look like norms and you get surprise colors not always bad thing but still would be nice to know what your getting

Your friend should just go about making his own poss hets, instead of buying and go from there.

he was gonna get a few normals but im the one who told him to get poss hets cause norms he can get cb from shows for cheap he only has corns now and working his way up i just suggested poss hets so he might get a bonus out his pets/ every so often breeding he wants cheaps hets will be cheapest like 150-500 or more on cheap end norms run $30

poss hets are out there but even some 100% hets are so cheap now! most of the poss hets on the market that you see are for more valuable traits and combinations.... poss het albinos hypos and pieds are practically being sold as normals these days. Pretty crazy when you look at it

Alot of people still produce poss hets but alot of people also hold on to most if not all the females. Just keep your eyes open and your sure to find poss hets for what ever you want.

There is also the choice of producing your own with a het male. Good Luck

You would almost have to already know the breeder to feel solid about it.It's tough enough to trust in the genetic lineage of 100% hets,let alone possibles..Which is why i've kept all that i've produced(Females that is.).Since,to me they are worth more than the market says they are anyway.

Well,as soon as i said that i remembered...I did let go of some pos het albinos,but i had a serious overabundance of them last season,but everything else has stayed behind...

Get a het male and breed your own...you'll feel better about them..lol
