Hello,
That's one of their lesser-used common names... they're also sometimes called Central American Giant Black Milksnakes, but usually just black milknsakes. Below is a link to my photo gallery, lots of gaigeae in there as well as a few other critters. Enjoy!

I take that back I thought I read Conants DAh.I bought 4 at the Hamburg show for 55dollars apiece.My friend took two and I kept two for myself.It will be a few years before I can breed them.

This was taken in June '06. Currently he's over 2000 grams and around 6'.
I picked up a gorgeous '05 female for him from Nate G. and hope to breed them in the future.
