Ha, they are a handful. They're quite on their way to domestication though, and some states even consider them as such in laws. Ours have never shown agression towards people, and I figure the risk you take with them is the same as any dog. Most don't bite, but theres always that risk with anything that has teeth. They're mischevious.. like a puppy that never grows up. Like dogs, they wag their tails when they're excited to see you. They also bark.
Fox domestication is interesting, especially if you look at the russian domestication experiment. Pretty much domesticated a group of foxes in 50 years time.. to the point their ears flopped, they wagged their tail, their coat colors changed, and barked like dogs. I suppose the same process wolves took to dogs. I wonder how many animals considered wild will be common pets in the next few hundred years.
