OUCH, yeah, kind of ugly BUT, having the Sable and Pastel gene in the same snake is not a bad thing. The Super Sable is what I am after!

JET Pythons

(CJBianco explaining the origins of the BP market.)
"In the beginning Bob created the Ball Python market. And the market was without morph, and wild traits were upon the industry. And Bob said, Let there be morph, and there was morph. And Bob saw the morph, that it was good; and Bob divided the morph from the wild trait. And Bob called the morph Albino, and the wild trait Normal. And the Albino and the Heterozygous Albino were the first investment.

If the Cinn x Sable is the DIRT Ball, what is this one called
I would vote for the STINK Ball.

Good one!

EmberBall Jul 24, 2007 07:57 PM

Wow, a Ball breeder with a good sense of humor, NICE!

I honestly think the Hypo Sable might be nice, Sulfur Sable, Fire Sable, Vanilla Sable, etc...anything that will lighten it up. I am saying this based on the REALLY nice Hypo Cinn that I saw posted here. I do like the Sable project, but think some of the crosses will prove out to be dogs. I have "heard" that the Sable Spider is nice......anyone have a pic? A Sable Snow??

recognized for what it can do to the colors in ball pythons. I am so excited that others excited about fires, because I should make a bunch next year. Here is a pic of my fire male. He is on top of the mojave.

EmberBall Jul 24, 2007 08:30 PM

All three of those snakes look very clean, very nice! Good choices.

0.1 pastel
1.0 spider
1.0 cinnamon (not that impressed with this morph, but I need him
to make a prewter and a silver streak)
1.0 albino
1.0 yellow belly (this guy is killer)
1.0 blonde pastel (as soon as Brian Sharp has these little guys
ready to go)

I also have 9 huge normal females, 2.3 het. albinos, 0.1 poss. het pied w/ marker traits, 1.0 het pied, 1.0 het caramel albino.

EmberBall Jul 24, 2007 09:15 PM

Looks like a nice start, but it also looks like it is time to ad some nice female morphs!

I never liked Cinns much, but got this guy from Jon of NextworldExotics. I really think he is one of the nicer Cinns, and when you are whoafully small time, you need quality over quantity, at least that is my motto.
