Your boa most likely had a cut from snout rubbing that got infected and is now filled with puss. I had a boa get that a long time ago. I took it to the vet and had shots of batryl given to it every 5-7 days I think it was over the course of about 6 weeks. It healed after a couple sheds and was gone for good.

Take it to a vet to be sure! The above written can easily be wrong. If somebody sold you that snake, they sold you a injured snake!

Sounds like a nose rub that has calcified, not real hard yet not drainable either.

I had a similar problem with my hog male.

He got a small splinter stuck in his nose right above the nostrils. It wasn't infected, but the pus buildup in snakes doesn't stay liquid like it does in mammals. It's hard and cheesy, and is hard for the snake's body to reabsorb.

My vet had to make a tiny incision and remove the pus. I then had to gave him oral antibiotics every day for a few weeks afterwards. There's still a much smaller bump there, but it looks much better than when it started swelling.

So, you will need to take your boa to the vet.
