enclosure question ?

I'm in the process of building a new enclosure for young Doreanus. I've seen a few enclosures that have what appears to be heavy burlap that is attatched to the back wall for climbing purposes.Has anyone used this material or knows anyone that has.I'd like some feedback on this matter before i finish construction and find out it was a total waste of time and resources.

I suppose that there are many things you could use to make the walls climbable. Here�s some pics of a cage that I set up for V. melinus:
