Cat litter pans...

Has anyone tried litter pans for tubs for rodent racks? If is, what do you feel about it?

I have used them for breeding mice in. I found them very sucssful keeping 1.3 mabie 1.4 in them. I have recently stopped breeding mice but plan to start again soon but with larger tubs so i can keep more females to a male.
