Calcium in water

wing Jul 25, 2007 04:05 PM

I have several powdered vitamins and Calcium lying around and wondering if I mix it in their bathing water, would their body absorb it or will it get filtrated through their skin.

not practical at all to do this. Dragon's don't absorb nutritients through their skin at all to my knowledge. However, when in a bath, most dragons will drink from the water directly and they could get some calcium etc from this. I don't recommend it as it is virtually impossible to provide a safe dosage this way.

Better to give a well balanced diet with plenty of variety in greens, vegetables and insects, and dust insects with calcium and vitamin powders once in awhile.
