Morph Timeline...

SRX Jul 25, 2007 05:40 PM

I was wondering if there is a current layout of Leo morphs available for viewing? I have a rough understanding of the evolution of the Leopard gecko in captivity, but some areas are hazy. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
Scott

do you mean like a timeline of when each morph was founded? it's in ron trempers book. if you don't have it i can tell you.

Yes, that and maybe a tier/branch system that shows the combos.
Thanks,
Scott
By the way, what is the title of the book by Ron (Temper I assume)?

the book is called the herpetoculture of leopard geckos, it's by ron tremper, philippe de vosjoli and rodger klingenbery, DMV.

it doesn't have a diagram, just this:

high yellow- 1972
jungle phase- 1991
striped phase-1991
murphy patternless-1991
blizzard-1995
tangerine-1996
trempter albino- 1996
reverse stripe-1997
rainwater albino- 1998
bell albino-1999
giant-2000
carrottail-2000
carrothead-2002
super snow-2004
RAPTOR albino-2004
eclipse designer- 2004

if you have any questions about specific ones and how they were "made" i can look it up and tell you. it has info. on almost every morph. hope this helps .
