citrus line lemon blast???

Ahusaka Jul 25, 2007 07:13 PM

From my understanding, a lemon blast is a pinstripe X lemon line pastel combo. If this citrus line lemon blast is made by the citrus line of pastel, shouldn't the name be changed from lemon blast to something else? Instead of saying "LEMONBLASTS-AKA CITRUS BLASTS" because the lemon blasts are not also-known-as citrus blasts. (This is not disrespecting Amirs line of citrus pastels)

the term lemon blast has been coined generically as any pastel x pinstripe combo. However incorrect it is, that's what has happened. I think it helps avoid confusion as newbs wouldn't understand what a bell x grazianni x lemon blast is. I have a suggestion, why don't we just call them pastel pinstripes. It would make these conversations about combo names irrelavent.

yeah, I agree.

I think all those combo names are a bit confusing too.

THE ORIGINAL PINSTRIPE WAS BRED TO A "LEMON" FEMALE AND I THINK THAT ANY "PASTEL" PINSTRIPE THAT IS NOT FROM THE "LEMON" LINE SHOULD NOT BE CALLED A "LEMON BLAST" AS IT TRULY IS NOT. THEY ARE TRULY A SUPERIOR LOOKING ANIMAL AS COMPARED TO THE "BELL OR GRAZIANI" LINE COMBOS. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT CROSS LINES TO SEE WHAT THEY GET BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BE BUYING AN ANIMAL FROM A CROSSED LINE THAT YOU BOUGHT AS A "LEMON" TO BREED TO YOUR "LEMON" AND IT JUST MUDDIES UP THE WATERS. YOU SHOULD GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND NOT HAVE TO WONDER!

pastel x pinstripe= lemonblast--

I agree the lemon is a nice pastel, but the citrus lines are even nicer, and still command a higher price--I wish I could call them citrusblasts without creating confusion.

WHY WOULD THAT BE CONFUSING IT'S PRETTY EASY TO UNDERSTAND THAT A CITRUS BLAST WOULD BE FROM A CITRUS. IF YOU LOOK AT A TRUE LEMON BLAST THEY ARE MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE CITRUS BLAST. NOT MUCH COLOR WITH THE CITRUS AND QUITE A BIT OF DARK SHADING. STILL ANOTHER COMBO TO SEE JUST HAVE NOT SEEN THAT MUCH INTEREST IN THEM.

yeah-ok--someone must have a few lemon pastels

Ahusaka Jul 28, 2007 05:13 PM

Sigh..... I didn't say they couldn't call the citrus line lemon blasts, citrus blasts, I said they couldn't call them lemon blasts because they are not of the lemon line of pastel. Wow, doesn't anybody ever read the original post? That is EXACTLY what I was explaining in my original post. DUH.
