albino pastals, albino super pastals ?

crocodile_king Jul 26, 2007 03:13 AM

is this possible or would the albino part of the morph combo just whipe out the pastal part ... making the babies just look like regular albinos?

im talking albino x pastal het albino or albino x super pastal het albino breedings.

i think im addicted to the BP morph possibilities!

I've not seen a super pastel albino yet but pastel albinos are out there. The albino gene does take quite a toll on the pastel gene from what I've seen but you can see the "pastel eye stripe". On the other hand ralph davis produced a few pastel lavender albinos that were pretty cool, they took the white head markings down quite a bit. check his site for the birthing records and you should find them. I'm pretty sure people are working as we speak on the super pastel albino...maybe at daytona..who knows whats going to pop up down there...

I asked the same question actually and basically people said it was not worth my time. If you think about it combining two yellow snakes isn't really going to do much I think other than take the yellow off of the head. The part of the yellow not being on the head is what somebody else told me. For me it was going to be a lot of work for very little visual reward. That's just what I think but it might be worth while for you
