I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but could someone please help me out...
I would just like a simple explanation on what the easiest way to post pics on these forums is.
I have not been able to figure it out.
Thanks

Here are some instructions with graphics that should help you get your photos posted here in the forums.
The easiest way to display photos here is to go to [ur]http://photobucket.com/[/url] and create an account. It’s totally free and spam free. When you get to the “Upload Images & Videos” prompt, BEFORE you begin uploading your photos, click the "Uploading Options" link below the upload section.

Set it to "Max Image Size MESSAGE BOARD (640 x 480)." This will automatically resize the photo so it isn't too large and distorts the webpage.

To begin uploading your photos click the “Browse” button and navigate to the location of the image on your PC.

If you will be uploading more than one photo, click the “Add more images” link and it will give you more lines to add photos.

After you’ve selected your image and it shows the file name onscreen you can click the white space below it to enter a title if you wish.
When you have selected all the photos you want to upload click the “Upload” button to begin uploading.

Once your photos are uploaded it will show a thumbnail of your photo. Below the thumbnail you'll see three lines of different codes. Find the "IMG code" at the bottom. Left-click once on the code and it will copy the link. Then you can right-click in the message body and paste the code where you want the photo to appear. I find it easier to have two browsers open, one open to PhotoBucket and the other opened to the forums. That way you can switch back and forth between browsers.

The correct code will look like this: [im g]http://photobucket_whatever_the_photo_is[/im g] (without the space between the “m” and the “g” in the img brackets.)
For those of you on dial-up, if the photo on your PC is a big file, it will take awhile for it to upload. I strongly recommend downloading a free graphic viewer by the name of IrfanView. It is a pretty handy tool that allows you to resize, crop, and add text to, your images. It can do many more things, too, like create a slideshow, screensaver and more.
I assure you that its freeware, totally free and has no spyware, malware or anything else that you wouldn’t want. I’ve been using it for years and resize my photos to cut my upload time at least in half.
IrfanView can be downloaded for free here: www.irfanview.com/
