Anybody know if the adult form of mealworms are okay to feed to Collareds?

but they only tried to eat em once!None of my reptiles will eat em,my leos tried them once too and they just spit them out as they get the shell open-they must taste bad or something.Even my waterdragon who is addicted to mealies turns his nose up at them!

There was a dicussion on mealworm beetles in the leo forum a couple of weeks ago and i believe it was said that the have a lot of chitin and are hardly worth eating. And in my own experiences my leos or water dragons spit them out. I have heard they are very bitter. But if your collared eats them they are harmless.
