differences

Hi, I'm really interested in getting a corn snake, preferably a creamsicle. I was wondering if the creamsicle had any differences compared to normals, since they are bred with rat snakes, such as a larger size or temperament issues. I've had turtles, frogs, and salamanders, but no snakes so far, so I was hoping to start out with one that's pretty calm, and I know that all snakes have different temperaments, just hoping for some feedback from owners. Thanks!
Caroline

There's hardly any difference, other than that creamsicles tend to be a bit stockier than "pure" corns. At the time creamsicles were created, corn snakes and Emory's (Great Plains) Rat Snakes were classified as the same species and said to naturally intergade where their ranges overlap (there are those who continue to believe this, while there are others who accept the recent reclassification).
