Well hello, I am BLACKHAWK44, a nuisance trapper in Ohio and came by my sand boa on a snake call from a local company. He/she was shipped in a returned heat from Rons Reptiles to Canton Ohio. Long story. Had trouble with feed at first then ran into CBH here on forum. Got some tips. Now I have a healthy sand boa, vigorous, tenacous and ready to eat. A young one. Getting very strong for size. Happy and dont bite but wants to go all over when hungry. Eats a pink every thursday. Use aspen shavings, lll reptile thermostat heat control, heat 15watt pasted to bottom of plastic cage. Nice one. Keep drink water handy in case. Use remote temp-humidity elecronic sender to read temp/hum away from unit. Use two paper towels I spray with water to control hum. Love the rep, named rep Murphy. Got lots of power and you can feel the muscle when gently handling Murphy. Can support own body 50% in air. But Murphy seems happy and doesnt bite yet. How do you treat a pet like that to something better than a pink?????? Good luck with all your pets and take care of them. God made us the keepers. BLACKHAWK 44. P.S. THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS SITE.
