Rainer,

Both those are great looking. But that peabino is exceptional. Congrats.

Yes I like the Phantoms the best. I think they will lighten up quite a bit with every shed.

Wanted to add I think the axanthic x Peanut Butters I just hatched out will turn out better than the anerythristic x Peanut Butter homoztygot(Phantoms). Just have to wait another 2-3 years to see. I just hathced out the triple het babies these from breeding a Ghost to a Peanut Butter. So those will have the ghost/Peanut Butter, the axanthic/PB, hypo/peanut butter as well as ghost and an assortment of hypos, axanthics and Peanut Butters. Those should be a real fun clutch!

was just thinking that the pb is recessive ,so it cant be codom, because codom is the het of a dominant, but the allies of pb are t neg and what else?.btw i LIKE the phantom, the Phantom Ax should be better Eaa !and the Triple homo PB Ghost WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Peanut shares an allele on a single locus with the T negative.

The Golden was a surprise I did not expect and it took me a while to figure out what it even was. More on this one later.

wonder if Zee hatched babies from his Golden corn and hets this season, and if they prove out genetic

Bluerosy Jul 28, 2007 08:31 AM

I haven't heard anything about that Golden corn from Zee lately. Maybe he'll read this and give an update.
