I've been using a mac for a few years now and I've been trying to search for herp software for the mac....I can't find a single one! I'm currently learning xcode and thinking of creating my own. If anyone out there knows of good herp software for the mac, Please let me know. I also have Vista installed on my macbook so I guess I could find a windoze program.

I'm a Mac user. I read about the new Leopard OS last night which I believe came out today, that has the functionality of Mac OS and Windows side by side so you can use your Mac goodies right inside PC programs. So shortly every up to date Mac user will actually be able to use PC herp record keeping programs without the expensive nighmare of Virtual PC. So maybe you might want to hold off and see how good this works first before writing your own program.

Leopard won't be out until October I believe. As long as you have a mac with an intel processor, you can dual boot in either OS X or Windows using Boot Camp which is in it's Beta state until Leopard comes out. The great thing about boot camp is that it's not an emulator like Virtual PC or Parallels. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for good herp software for windows until either I find one for the mac or until I make my own, it will be my present to mac herpers everywhere. heh.
