When I inherited my RES, she had algae on her carapace. I never thought anything of it. Is it a problem I should be aware of? I do occasionally scrub off what I can with a toothbrush but it never completely comes off.

i have the same problem what worked for me was more frequent water changes regimented with scrubing the shell and a good uvb flourescent
