Leopard boas

miloradovich Jul 27, 2007 10:06 AM

I intented to post this here yesterday but ran out of time so here they are a day later.
Wednesday afternoon I got home to find that my Het Leopard female gave birth to 8 healthy babies and one still born. They look a little premie but all are doing good. Following is a breeding pick of the het parents (posted before), a shot of the litter and one of the two dark leopards by themselves.

This is the first time I've seen leopards in person so I'm pretty excited about the litter. I can't wait to see how they look after their first shed. I'll try and get some better shots posted then.

Congratulations, always nice to see more leopards being produced. It seems most people are working on making double hets at the moment.

How large was the pair? I'm curious to see what the average size is for producing adult Leopards and hets.
