What's wrong with Rocky's scales(pics)?

coluberking25 Jul 27, 2007 04:45 PM

I took him out today to see if he shed(I don't think he did, I see no fresh skin anywhere) and noticed his scales were looking rather wrinkly in some areas on his skin! Think 50% humidity is too dry for him? All help is very much appreciated!

most of the shots didn't come out clearly, you can see the wrinkled scales sticking out and circled green.

here's another, not clear shot but you can see the scales sticking out(again circled green)

and one more, again the scales are circled in green, this time the shot is clear

Again, thanks in advance for any help!

Just normal scale bending /folding from resting in a position, similar to a imprint on your body from resting against a uneven surface, watch, ring, cords etc. Should be go away with time/sheddings and be just fine. Except for the plain brown coloring on those and every oither scale, that unfortunately will never go away!!

Scott,
...I think it is time for you and I to scratch Dave's name off of the Christmas list. He is right about the wrinkles though.

I was VERY close to purchasing a pair of CRB, they where very nice to be honest. Although as of yet the Peruvians seem to be my favorite of the entire group, nope I do not have even one. go figure!!! I also saw a VERY pretty CRB on the classifieds recently that got my attention.

I also love the peruvians more than the brazilians but availability plays a big role in that aspect as to why I don't have any too. But I plan to have a really nice one later on in a few years though

I will no longer answer any posts from coluberking25, I no longer like him or wish to speak to him ever again. If I get lucky he will go to heaven!!!

Pardon me

But you see I've seen that face before
I know those eyes
Unearthly wise
I feel it more and more
To look at you
Deja Vu
Chills me to the core

They say that you are the king of this whole damn thing
But that only confused me

I don't stand a ghost of a chance with my host
And it frankly amused me
So let's drink a few
Here's looking at you
I swear
Didn't we meet in the night in my sleep somewhere
Didn't we meet in the night in my sleep somewhere

Gradually I could see
Things are getting clear
That ancient face
Satanic grace
This sudden rush of fear

They say that you are the king of this whole damn thing
Now they got me believing
They said I don't stand a ghost of a chance with my host
So I better be leaving
So let's drink a few
Here's looking at you
I swear
Didn't we meet in the night in my sleep somewhere

Here I am
The door's been slammed
They're gonna roast me clean!

He'll Make me bleed
Till I plead
For you to let me die!

They say that you are the king of this whole damn thing
Now they got me believing

They said I don't stand aghost of a chance with my host
So I better be leaving

So let's drink a few
Here's looking at you
I swear

Didn't we meet in the night in my sleep somewhere ?

DarkSaint, I'm OUT!!!! NIB

The wall of sleep is lying broken, the son shined in, you have awoke him!!!!!
