Anyone who has been to SW Louisiana...

jfirneno Jul 27, 2007 06:34 PM

I'm looking to see if anyone has found lindheimeri there that look like this. WE've been having a discussion on the ratsnake forum as to whether the Lloyd Lemke line of orange-phase american ratsnake is natural or a Frankenstein creation.

Regards
John

I posted in the rat snake forum already. My friend bought a WC orange, and it must have been caught somewhere near Baton Rouge cause he drove to get it. I personally haven't found any oranges yet but I don't herp the SW very often.

John:
I replied to your post on the ratsnake forum before reading this. Thanks for the info. This snake reminds me of the Lemke line I'm working with. That's probably the best circumstantial proof I'm likely to get.

Best regards
