Ok to reuse mice?

Langi Aug 19, 2003 11:09 AM

If one snake refuses to eat is it alright to offer the same mouse to a different snake? Sometimes I leave the (f/t) mouse in with the snake for a while and if they don't eat it the mouse gets slithered all over. Is it ok to feed it to something else then? Thanks alot, I hate to throw out a thawed mouse.

That's a good question. I would, but my snakes are all the same species. I'm not sure if between species it would transmit anything....? You could refreeze it, and then feed it to whatever. Hmmm....anyone else?
