Finally, a healthy beardie for our family!

amyjk Aug 19, 2003 11:17 AM

Well, I just wanted to officialy announce that my famly has finally gotten a healthy beardie. And we would like to especially thank Lisa from BeginnersBasics for being so kind and generous. This was honestly the very first time I have ever purchased anything from the internet. (I'm so behind the times! lol ) And he was in perfect shape when he got here. Packed perfectly. He is now settling into his new home, and is already quite the character. I will post pics within the next couple days.

Awwwwww Thank You!

I needed something like what you said to help cheer me up today.

My 3 year old daughter threw our 2 pound puppy off the couch today and seriously broke her leg in two. I rushed out to the vet ASAP.... didn't even have shoes on my feet or my hair brushed LOL.. Poor thing screamed her head off the entire way and was biting the heck out of me while screaming. They may have to put pins in her leg to get it fixed ... NOT looking forward to that vet bill
I also have an appt this afternoon for 3 dragons, one of which I think has Coccidia pretty badly since he has dropped some weight pretty quickly and has nasty loose smelly stools. The reason for 3 dragons going is that he has come into contact with two of my females and they very well might also have it now!!
So, I will be emptying sand out of the 5x2x2 tanks and replacing it with newspaper and then scrubbing things daily, etc... at the same time I will be playing nursemaid to the little puppy when she comes home Oh and also taking care of the house and the three kids! LOL

Anyone want a part time job? LOL (Joking)

UGH!

Anyway.... Thanks again for the nice comment

I am new to dragons and Lisa has been very very helpful.
She doesn't hesitate to help whether you got your dragon from her or elsewhere.
In my opinion we need more people like Lisa out there.
This is by no means a slight towards anyone else on this forum it is just to give praise where praise is due.

sorry if it's too big, or too small, I'm not real computer savvy. We named him Cooper. How cute is he?!
