HERE'S A RARE

Seldom seen form of Epicrates. This is a Fords Ground Boa (Epicrates fordi). These are endemic to Hispanola. They reside in xeric areas that look similar to the Sonoran Desert. Maximum size is about 3'. Hope you enjoy. TC

usually very tame. Adults feed on small mice and juveniles eat Anoles lizards. Its a rare small boid closely related to Rainbow Boas. It can only be found on one island in the West Indies. TC
