I'm tellin ya man...it rained earlier that day, and it's been so dry there that the rain just pushes everything out...I actually thought we'd see more...but hey...

Yeah, 2 gilas in one night is always a good thing...I found a pair of combatting males back on June 10th...got some good pics of those...have you seen them? If not shoot me an email and I can send you the links to the photos...

The area I go hiking in has healthy populations of desert torts, gilas, atrox, tigers and molossus. I also spotted one coral this year, and the area is supposed to be rich with them...you know how secretive Az corals are tho!...I'm encouraged that I'm seeing many animals of different age ranges as this indicates a healthy population...good times, good times...
