What's up folks?

I've kind of been out of comission for a while, but things are better now. Here are some pics of my first holdback from this year. These first pics are of him right out of the egg.

Now check him out after his shed. He just exploded with green.

These are his parents. The male is from Dan V, and the female is Russ B.

Very nice holdback, I especially like the one you posted below with the thinner saddles. But I'm partial to reduced pattern, no its no suprise.

Thanks Aubrey. The one with the reduced saddles is the only one in that clutch that came out like that. I wish they all would have looked like that. That would be awesome! lol.

Wow, Ken -- that is a beautiful green thayeri. Good luck working on those greenies, they're handsome animals -- plus then I'll know where to go to find the best ones in the future! Have fun with them . . .

Thanks Tom. Here is another green one from the same clutch. Sorry for the crappy pics, but he wouldn't be still. Only three out of ten made it. I got these two green males, and a buckskin female. I believe the other eggs went bad because it was this females first clutch. My other clutches were kept under the same conditions, and were fine. I'm already looking forward to a big clutch of greens from them next year.

Sweet color on that one Ken, no wonder he is a hold back.

Thanks. I appreciate it Adam. Here is another holdback from this year. This one is from my big Lee Abbott pair that I let go recently. This pic was just a few days after hatching, and it's getting ready to shed in a couple days now. I can't wait to see what it looks like post shed.

Thanks Michelle. It really has been a while since I've posted, but hopefully I'll get back on track now. I have about three weeks before I start back to work so there will be plenty of time for posting pics. lol.
