Safe paint???

I'm building a cage for my two white's dumpy treefrogs and I'm using melamine on the back and sides(screen doors in the melamine on the sides) and glass on the front and bottom. I was wondering what paint I could use on the melamine(because it is white and I want it to look natural) that would be safe for my frogs, and not flake off with the high humidity?
