nice variability with those hypo Florida/Brooks kings!

Who's stock are the parentes from? Did you use two hets or a hypo to het in the breeding?

Post some more info please !

Hey Rainer, the parents are both het for hypo that I picked up from Bill Schmiedecke. He's down here in Florida and was thinning out his stock quite a bit. Recognize these?

Kevin,

Boy those New Englands are turning out great!
Did you pick those up from me at Daytona? The reason why is I don't remember you getting the other two.

Anyway, nice pics and keep up the great breeding projects!

Yeah, I bought the two New Englands and you threw in the other two, needless to say I was one happy camper that day! Kevin

WOW sometimes I amaze myself. Thats an incredibly amazing thing for me to do, isn't it?.. Ahhh, don't know what gets into my head during these shows. I feel heavy with all the snake people that are standing around , argghhh! I am surrounded! I look at their faces as they plan to pick two maybe three pairs of the hottest herps on face of the earth from my table. They gaze into the deli cups and inspect its contents. Inside they see living works of art and admire every detail with a nod and a partially hidden smirk.. They notice every fleck and movement. They are stern on pricing and brought stacks of money to the hilt. Yet, they know my table, their destiny. They know it and I know they know. They look up to see my eyes and I see a poker face staring back at me ....IT feels so good for them! And i too am caught up in the moment.
SO I shake their hand. I start throwing extra snakes into deli cups and into the buyers bags, I stuff them in their pants, anywhere they can hold them down.. some get excited and whisper, "how am I going explain this to my (insert: girlfriend, husband, mother, wife, father, sister, parol officer), I calm them down and say hey "don't tell no one" i place my finger over their lips, ,hoooshh!-hooshh..don't tell a soul.. Just look for the blue and white banner sign that says; "BROOKSI"....and tell em you found home.

how it happened. I left the table carefully guarding my new possesions, peaking in on them every fifteen minutes. Getting back to my hotel room and carefully taking each one out and examining them closely with a flashlight. Knowing that each would grow strong and healthy and produce lots of offspring. Which is exactly why I will be visiting Brooksi "Heaven" in about three more weeks in search of more morphs and even more generosity. Kevin

Im wondering if there is any red or orange on that light hypo?

kevine Jul 29, 2007 05:29 PM

just a few specks of orange. kevin

ChristopherD Jul 29, 2007 06:05 PM

Thanx i figured as much ,due to the tannish coloration.neat clutch looks like the product of a non related het hypo to hypo.Once again Nice.Chris not a big fan of the red hypos but a lot of people love em and they are an ingredient for some of the new morphs

Great stuff..Yeah I'd recognize Bill's animals anywhere....
Those could be from his "hi-orange hypo hets" as he puts it.
He worked on those for years and years. His "hi-orange" are some of the best brooks's out there as hatchlings.
Some of mine have that blood as well along with my own unrelated lines bred for "hi-red". Smokers hatching now.
Now you have 'em too!
Wasn't it a blast to watch them pip with your kids??

Yeah, they were gathered around them like a
Christmas tree. They've already picked their favorites out. We've got California KIngs hatching now, actually they are from the snake which started the reptile "craze" in our house. But by the time they pick out all their "favorites" we'll probably have doubled the snake population in our house. I'm glad my wife likes them. And yeah, those are exactly the kings your talking about from Bill, I was thankful to get them. Kevin
