thanks and you're welcome. What kind of pits did you have pictures posted of the otehr day? Looked like a sonoran gopher or perhaps a bull.

MichelleRogers Jul 29, 2007 09:00 PM

I had some NJ northern pines and amel. southern pines, I will have to go back and check to make sure but I think that is what i posted. I do have a klumper line sd gopher i need to get pic's of. I will have to admit the pits have become as addicting as thayeri. I didn't think i would like them as much as I do, but they are awesome snakes.

yes they are all sexed. The first number indicates the pairing the middle letter indicates the sex and the last number indicates their lineal number within the clutch.
3F1 - clutch 3, female, 1st one sexed

vichris Jul 29, 2007 08:19 PM

Ok I see it now I just couldn't find the number.

Wow, those are some great looking babies. I also really like that first one, what a crazy head pattern! If he was a lady I would have to snatch it up! I have too many males as it is.

it is a female and it's ID is 3F7. The IMG tag above the picture is broken and would show a male yellow leonis if I had not forgotten the bracket.

Russ,

It looks like your sacrifice to the Thayeri gods was well received...those are some very nice babies for 2007...

My favorite is the last one...the "White" one...

One of mine gave me an "action" photo...realigning the jaws after putting away his Fuzzy...sometimes they "pose" for their photo shoot...sometimes...

Jim

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see that guy tunr green over time.

CSRAJim Aug 02, 2007 08:50 AM

Russ,

I'm not sure how they (2.1) will finally turn out but I suspect that he (PTM052) will turn "Greenish" (with a metallic-yellow overwash) with maturity...but then again, they are Variable King Snakes...Ha! Ha!

If you are interested, contact Loren P. at Sundial Reptiles. He produced my trio from his 1.2 adults. The male and one of the females are Serpentdan stock...the other female was produced by Matt P. (Rio Grande Reptile) from vchris stock (thanks Chris).

Later,
Jim.
