What do you think?

I am thinking of building a rack for my male boas. All are under 5 foot and I am thinking of using the cb 110 tubs (20x39x6.5). I've been debating to myself if that would give the males enough room and I think that it would, just wanted other opinions. I then need to finalize plans for building a 5 tub tall rack. This seems the cheaper and easier way to go then buying the manufactured racks. I would probably use melamine board. Any opinions or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time. rob

It has been done before, but personally I think snakes deserve more room than that. If you must build a rack for them I would suggest larger tubs. Check these out.

Thanks Zach, but the new Boa tub isn't up there yet.

I want to put my males in a rack but all my 4 foot cages have radiant heat panels. What the best type of heat for a home made rack? I do have a 27 qt rack with recessed heat tape that I bought but would the under tank heat pads ( cobra, ultratherm, exo terra, kane) be better or are all about the same. Thanks for your time.

I built these two 10 high racks around the CB110 tubs.
