Hello forum!
I am going to purchase a new corn and can’t decide between a motley or hurricane (snow). I used to have about 12 corns but sold off most of them a while ago. I only kept one normal het snow motley female that I originally got from Dwight Good. Her name is Garnet (anyone remember her?). She’s very sweet and has an almost miami-look to her, not very orange, mostly light cremes with deep red saddles. I’m getting this new one to eventually breed with her, because I think the variation in the resulting babies would be a lot of fun (and good experience for me down the road with an egg-laying species).
So, just looking for some opinions… should I go with a hurricane motley or just a good ol’ motley? What do you think?
Is my understanding correct that the hurricane trait would not be passed on and the resulting offspring would most likely look like regular motleys?
Thanks,
-April
