I was incubating my eggs at around 90 and then recently the incubator got down to 83 for over a day. I am now trying to warm them up slowly. Are they going to be ok? thanks

BP eggs are very resilient. I think you are just fine.

I would not recommend heating too quickly. What are you using that the temps dropped that low and how quickly did they drop? How are your eggs setup? Are they in an egg chamber? A couple of hours from 83 to 90 should be fine.

it is a long stupid story, my two clutches were doing fine till my boyfriends rhino iguana eggs were laid. then all hell broke loose because HIS eggs couldnt be above 86 so we had to lower the temp and upon doing this it got too low for my eggs. We ar now tring to get a good temp of about 86 but I added a heating pad under my egg containers and the temp is finally rising its at 86.5 now. It is a nice small incubatior from nsreptiles with a Helix thermostat. The fan in it sucks so we had to get a different one and now its all jacked.... thats the long story it all the dumb iguanas fault!!! thanks for you help sarah
