HELP... Calcium sand in baby bull's nose

I just was looking at my 3 month old baby bullsnake and saw a black speck in one of her nostrils. We have a small dish of black calcium sand among her aspen shavings so I figure that is what it is. I tried wiping it out with a wet cloth (really pissed her off) to no avail. Do I have anything to worry about?
