some pictures with my cell...

FRoberts Aug 01, 2007 02:07 AM

these pics actually look like the actual snakes....

although the yellow on this carpet is slightly brighter in person, but pretty darn close...

colors off on this brb picture, but shows her pattern nicely.

this next one depicts her coloration best as of yet...

blurry but the snake is that color lol...

shows yellow well but rest stinks lol

although the next picture is not so clear, it does tell one a little something about African Bull Frogs...his name is Mikey or Mikie...

Well I think it is safe to say when I get a real digital camera I will be taking a mess load of pictures. Another reason I tried not to get one, I am rather excessive compulsive by nature, borderline Monk about certain things....lol

I just posted on blood forum, was purchased as a red blood, I think it is a yellow phase red blood but not sure, I have another from a dif source purchased as a neonate sumatran red, def turned yellow, the one you are inquiring about looks to be somewhere in between.

It drew blood, actually they have something called an odontaphore (sp?) in their mouth for holding food in place, pretty painful I have to say lol.

Hey Frank,
What is the 5th pic? Is that a red tail boa? In another post I think you mentioned BCI. What exactly does that stand for? Again, nice collection.
Thanks

Boa constrictor imperator, more commonly known as a Colombian Red-Tail Boa. It is not a true red tail which is B.c.c.

That particular one is called a Circle-back.

I will post a better pic in the future (Oct) when I finally buy a digital camera. That particular one is suffused with pink coloration over its entire body, it I am happy to say is quite breath taking to behold in person. As a matter a fact I was cleaning enclosures and had to stop and call my friend that gave him to me to convey my thankfulness once again. He sent me 2.2 from his recent litter, all are beautiful, but two of them are jaw droppers. I have an unrelated female already for him from the Boa Woman Sharon Moore. They will make some OUTSTANDING babies. She has loads of pink as well. Not even close to what he is exhibiting. I can barely speak when I look at him.

Here is a few more pics that do not do him justice, but best I took so far....

also a so so pic of Boa Woman female, not showing any color at all, longs for dig camera, sad I used to long for a GOOD woman hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

and one of her when purchased, she looks 100 times better now then in this picture...
