weird diet question...........

Dragon Eyes May 21, 2003 10:19 PM

ok, heres the deal. i'm sure everyone feeds their crested baby food, but does anyone feed other geckos baby food? after feeding my crested baby food, i gave some to my pictus females, they seem to like it, i also gave some to all my leopards, they didnt know what to think of it i guess. is it bad for them, is it ok, or what? does anyone have suggestions? does anyone else do this too?
thanks

It is not bad for leos. Some actually like some fruit baby food as a treat every now and then. They should not have it as a stable diet though.

i had a group of leos that went "off food" during the breeding season so to get them back on it i dosed them with panacure (to make sure it wasn't parasites) and made a concogutation (or however you spell it) of baby food and Jump start appetite stimulant. My leos liked the banana flavord and chicken with brocolli. kind of weird comb isn't it. hope this answers your quesiton.
