big bend hatchlings

here are three of seven celaenops from this year. the middle one is the runt at 7 grams, the rest are all 10. Last year all but one took pinks right away, this year however is going to be a challenge. so far only one (bottom pic) is taking pinks.

I would have sworn that those were pics of little annulatas. The shape of the head and the bands made me think Mexican. They look just like our little guy did.
