Man, that boy of yours is amazing! Perhaps he and my Sable should get together sometime. Or, you know, you could just send him over here.... I'll cover shipping cost.

lol shipping cost you meen $20 for gas money lol. he is goin nowhere even tho he gets a tude every do often he is still my baby. T-8 days till his babies SHOULD be here. i cant wait for his girly to have her babies so i can start getting good pics of her again. oh and if you didnt hear at the show shane announced sewer fest will now be twice a year next date is nov. 28th i think maybe i dont remeber lol its the last day of deer hunting if i rememerb right.

waspinator421 Aug 02, 2007 01:34 PM

OOhhhh... I cant wait for the babies! I may have to snag one! No, I didnt hear the announcement. We didnt really see a whole lot of what we were looking for so we left after about an hour. I couldnt even buy rat pinks because the guy wanted to sell them 50 at a time... I dont need that many! lol.

yeah most dealers only sell pinks at 50 a pack it was like $10 for a 50 pack classic dums is good for rodents but i prefer american rodent for my rats/mice. i had to get a few rats at the show for a buddy of mine. i couldnt balieve how fast my corns went holy cow out of 13 i got 4 left and my poor little cham sold poor guy he went to some guy who looked like he wanted to eat him lol

waspinator421 Aug 02, 2007 02:07 PM

Hmmm.... I guess I haven't run accross that before. At our Madison show I saw the guy picking through bags to get out exactly what the customer wanted. I guess I just thought that was commonplace. But I understand, shows can be hectic, and by the bag would be way easier. I think his bags of 50 (at sewerfest) were $20-something, and I just didn't need 50 for 2 babies that will grow out of them soon.

Congrats on selling most of your babies! I was wondering how the show went for you. That little Cham was pretty cute. Hopefully the new owner will take good care of him.

Tim,
...Where do you live? No native lizards or treefrogs there? Little Cornsnakes love Anoles and Skinks.

im in wisconsin not to many reptiles here lol. a few more so upnorth but im stuck in the city im goin (hopefully) upnorth this weekend and there is usualy some small toads and tiny tree frogs i will be on the hunt for. ill probly just end up seeing lots of tutrles. if i am lucky i will find a pine snake water snake gopher snake or bull snake thats if i am lucky if i get super lucky ill find me a timber rattle snake lol. but ill probly be to busy drinking by the fire to find any snakes so probly just turtles lol.

Jeff Clark Aug 03, 2007 11:29 AM

Tim,
..Sorry, I had forgotten you were in Wisconsin. Here in Savannah I can get a feeder lizard without walking more than 50 feet. I was at my parents house in Florida earlier this week and the Bahamian Anole babies were in crowds in the garden. I caught and released 10 of them in just a couple minutes.

Frank,
...I was thinking the same thing. I hatched some Great Plains Ratsnakes when I lived in Texas and they came out of the egg with more color than the typical Texas area emory and surprised me. They did look a lot like that snake of Tim's. I did not keep them long enough to see at what age they lost the color and became more like their parents.
