That was really fun looking at those various milksnakes. You should open up a herp center for the public viewing and am sure people will pay to see those and maybe handle them even. It would be great to educate other kids too...just a thought.

Thanks Shannon.

Thanks Doug,
that first one is a female Gentilis from Golden Colorado. Its a line I started in 94 that Jeff Hardwick has now. I was lucky enough to buy back a pair of yearlings last year. They will go next year.

Ya know, I used to keep Turtles, Monitors and crocodilians strictly. Just a few months ago I got really interested in Milksnakes and seeing pictures like these keep me wanting more. I want a pair of Coastal Plains, they are amazing!

Glad to see you finally got some of your Golden, CO line back! And a nice looking red-head, too! The rest of the snakes you posted are killer, also. Too bad they went to Europe... LOL

Do you know what ever happened to the patternless amaura from the late '90s?

Yes, I was very lucky to get back some of my Golden Line. Some of these went over the pond but most are still here.A few are in a friends collection also.
