obz Aug 19, 2003 03:05 PM

hello all, this is my first post in the python forum, im usually over in the boa forum. but recently ive been facinated with womas, and have not been able to find a comprehensive care shee on them. if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated. im basiclly looking for temperature gradients, humidity, and adult size info.

also, who produces the best? ive seen millers, and theyre great (was droolin gover his redtails and heppened onto his woma section, kinda got me hooked,...), any other reccomended breeders?

Adult size is in the 6 foot range. Humidity isn't a huge concern as they are a desert species. Just keep a water dish in at all times and you'll be fine. For temps the mid to high 80s and even low 90s are sufficient. Pretty much keep them like you would a kingsnake and no problem.

I haven't found many care sheets that get specific on them but have talked to most the breeders that work with them and all of them feel they are one of the easiest snakes to work with.
