Is this pre or post shed ?

Zenny~ I think we should mention whats up with these new brooks so that some who are seeing them for the first time know whats up.

Mine is a Peanut Butter x lavender albino homozygot= Peabino
Yours is a hypomelanistic x lavender albino homozygot= hybino

Actually there will be world of difference when they get bigger.

The hybino is a lavender x hypo

The Peabino is a lavender x Peanut Butter

If you look closly the Peabino has purple around the bands and has more melanin so it does not have that lavender albino look.

Both are really cool and I can't wait for both of these to grow up so that Zenny and I can post more comparison pics.

yes- side by sides will be good for us, keep posting the pics as they grow. i think it will help whip up interest as well as help understand some gene action with all these new combos.

STUNNING!

daveb Aug 02, 2007 07:18 PM

do you remember coming up to my table at the '01 nrbe expo with your first peanut butter- I don't think you had a name for it. I believe we were talking about possible trades. best that things worked out the way they did for the herp community!!!

i gotta tell you i love the name peabino. you couldn't get an ad agency to come up with that one if you paid zillions.

btw, i won't be at the big show this year, have an ocean center hot dog and watered soda for me, and keep your hondos away from the beach!

it just won't be the same, now will it? you might as well have wayne postpone it all until next year.

... i am sure you and 750 other breeders will do fine w/o me, but who will you get to pose for pics up in the bleachers?

neat as that is, I think I like the PB and Lav Albino morphs by themselves better than that combo morph.

Now the phantom - that multimorph really caught my eye.
That brooksi was fantastic.
