Snow has arrived !

ConservinG_herps Aug 02, 2007 04:06 PM

I am freaking out here, after 66 days, the first hatchling (out of 8 eggs) is peeping out and it is a snow !!! I wonder how many snows there will be. These eggs came from a pair of albinos het anery. So what are the chances that the first one is a snow? LOL...

Thanks for looking and I'll post more pics later as they all hatch.

Thats great Ray,
last yer I bred a anery het amel to a double het snow.Only had four eggs and two went bad during incubation. The two that hatched were both snows.I had a 1 in 8 chance.
You just never know.

and guess what? It is another snow ! 2 for 2 now and six more to go... how exciting really ! Below are pics of parents when they were mating in Spring. Since they have high yellows, I wonder if the snows will grow up having yellowish bands. I think I'll be awake the whole night watching what peeps out from each of the remaining 6 eggs.

Thanks for looking.
