Banana Iguana ( Ctenosaura pectinata?)

maddogg1990 Aug 02, 2007 07:19 PM

Hey there, I've been looking at the banana Iguanas on Deer fern farms's website for a long time now and have sent them a couple of e-mails about availability, but never received a reply. I saw in an earlier thread that someone had a friend who would have several available at Daytona? I was wondering if he could give me a way of contacting his friend. Then I was looking for some care tips on this species. Mainly there caging requirements, Lighting/heat, Humidity, and Nutrition. Thanks for any help it's much appreciated.

He is a good breeder and produces the best quality animals with the best yellow. I think he had a great year and has some very nice yearling males from last year available. He will be in Daytona at Drew Rhinehardt's table. If you cannot make it to Daytona send me a message through this site with your e-mail address and I will forward your info to him. They are great animals. Very calm and as tame as a pagona or Sauromalus hispidus. Tom Greb

ahh just the person I was looking for. Yea I saw in a couple of threads about these guys the name Kelly Paul. I'm still not sure whether or not I'm going to make it to Daytona so If you could give me his/her e-mail address that would be great. Yea I love the way that this species looks and their known docile temperment not to mention their smaller size. Well I just wanted to thank you alot for the quick response and the referral to the breeder. Thanks for your help

Hey Tom.

I too have been trying to contact Kelly Paul for some time now and I haven't had any luck. Would you be willing to forward my info to him as well? I am also interested in the yellow C. pectinatas. My email address is jjhall@gmail.com.

Thanks so much!

Hi guys. I will forward your info to him. He works a ton of hours so it may take some time before he gets back to you. I know he has a few yearling males and hatchlings.

Okay that's no problem. A question though, what am I looking at for caging a lone male?
