How dose the new law stop commercial hunters as most that ive meet dont road hunt.Bob popa wells buys turtles from hunters who trap on pvt land.Most of the jaycees are having a good laugh at the road hunters. We been trying to stop round ups for years. Now they can hold them and we cant hunt the roads. Dose any one know how many wd are taking every year . i'd bet that most of you dont know that many make more than one round up . Lee Roy Higginbottom use to buy from all the round ups before and after sweet water .Then take them to the next round up to get the top $.he sold over a 100,000 collared lizards none were taken by road hunters but by oil field workers and fram hands with acess to pvt land.When i was a youngster i worked for him and know 1st hand how he obtained his reptiles

The new law does nothing to stop those people. This is the hypocracy that we hope will get ordinary sport hunters and fishermen on our side.

ordinary sport hunters and fishermen could care less about our side .Most dont like snakes.The land owners dont like night snake hunters.Ive seen pump housees trashed rocks pushed offf hill sides fences cut.If all we did was drive dn the roads no one would care .TP&W dose not care .How many remeber the 70S When you could not collect tri colors .How many know why it was allowed.Most Game wardens i know dont care about the snakes .They dont like to get calls from land owners at 2 in the morining .They never know who they are going to find at that time of night.The sport hunters and fishermen that ive talked too say that land owners might be more willing to allow them on there land now that night hunters are not going to be a problem.So far a few bad apples we all get a black eye.
