I bought this Boa at the Dixie Reptile Expo in Birmingham a couple of months back. It was sold to me as a Hypo-Pastel 100% Het for Albino. I was wondering if anyone could give me a little more insight on what exactly Sahara is? Could she be Het for Sharp, or Kahl Albino? Let me know what you think!!! (Some pix were taken with flash, some without) I appologize for the crappy lighting, will try to get some better quality pix on here soon.

It's hard to say if it's anything other than just a hypo. You mostly have to go on the sellers word for weather it's a het or not. I know that if it's a het for sharp albino it would cost you a nice penny or two more than a het kahl. Good looking BTW.

Can't be done. It's impossible to tell which strain it may be het for, by visual clues. The previous owner should have disclosed this.

The price you paid would be an indicator, but not a guarantee, as to which strain it may be het for.

Nice Hypo BTW.

If it is a het, it is probably a Kahl strain. They are much more common, but who knows?

You won't really know anything until you "prove" him/her out.
