Kirby,
I see that you're having a lot of stuff hatch out lately. Do you plan on updating your webpage for 2007 stuff? I've been checking regularly

I still have over half of my clutches that haven't hatched yet and a some that haven't shed yet.

Although I am posting pics now as they hatch...I prefer to post pics on my site after they have hatched, especially if I think the change after the shed is more accurate.

Thanks for looking and I do plan on updating it soon.

That's very nice. What morph would you call that? And does that lavender color change to a light lavender as an adult?

Well the daddy is a Great Valley Serpentarium "Lavender" and the female is a Palomar "Ghost" het for albino.

Last year when I bred the Great Valley Serpentarium "Lavender" male to a bunch of stuff, all the babies came out looking normal.

I know that the Great Valley Serpentarium "Lavender" is a simple recessive gene...looks like a hypo of some sort to me.

So why did all the babies look different when these 2 bred together? I haven't a clue. Next year I will be breeding some of last year's babies back to each other...should be interesting to say the least.

Here is a pic of a Blue-Eyed Blonde on the left and one of last year's babies on the right. Similar..BUT different.

The picture from this year is even lighter than last year's as babies.

Funny how they don't even look like the parents. Not all the babies came out like this BTW. The ones that were "normal" also had the weird pattern and looked different.

New stuff in the future...just need to accurately "label" them.

Even the "normal" ones are different.

Wow, I want them all. LOL These dark lavender looking kings are just amazing to me. The breeding between the lavender male and het for albino, ghost female is very interesting. Sounds like you'll have a lot of fun figuring out exactly what's going on there.
