For you horror fans - The OTHER Maryland Show

Rob Jenkins Aug 19, 2003 03:44 PM

I just went to the HorrorFind Weekend convention on Sunday and let me tell you it is so worth the money; even if you have to travel to get here.

Here are a couple pics -

Gunnar Hansen, AKA Leatherface

Doug Bradley, AKA Pinhead

Dee Wallace Stone, who played Karen in The Howling, Mom? in Cujo, and the Mom in E.T.

There were many more celebrities there and they were all real cool to talk to. Even though I hadn't planned on it, I talked to Dee for quite a few minutes and she was awesome.

Oh yeah, this guy was there, whatever his name was. I didn't get his autograph because the line was too long, which was cool, because you didn't really have to wait to talk to any of the others.

The younger guy in the top three pics (with the hat), while a good looking guy, hasn't been in any movies that he'll admit to.

I believe that that other guy that you didn't get to talk to because the line was too long is the legendary Alice Cooper, which explains why the lines were so long, but you are FAR too young to remember him (how I envy your youth!).

Alice Cooper

You know...I thought the same thing. WAS that Alice Cooper??? That would explain the lines, and me being 35 would explain why I recognized him...LOL.

LOL. Actually, yes that was Alice Cooper, I was just kidding. I'm not that young, but younger than many who were in line to see him. I'm not into his music, so didn't think we should wait hours to see him and miss the rest of the convention. We missed out on Traci Lords on Friday, apparently. I'm sure the line was just as long for her. What was great was that there were really no lines for any of the other celebrities, just walk up and talk to them.
